As the first stop on my whirlwind trip to New York for Spring-Summer 2015 Fashion Week, Honor certainly did not disappoint. Models trotted down the Chelsea runway clad in candy color and pristine white confections to an elegant, yet modern tune. Honor designer, Giovanna Randall balanced that girly sweetness with a raw energy and innovative shapes. She was inspired by an innocent romance turned dark, which is reflected in the progression of the show. This girl may seem like a pastel princess, but underneath her feminine facade, she is a strong city girl ready to conquer the world. This collection really highlighted couture elements, which made every look a unique piece of wearable art. Randall managed a fresh and vibrant collection for spring summer, I can’t think of a better way to kick off the season!
