Emma Stone was absolutely divine in this imppecable Lanvin jumpsuit. The gorgeous, jeweled top and elegant, oversized bow perfectly balanced the strength of her tailored trousers. Emma’s willingness to shatter red carpet molds, so effortlessly and stunningly might I add, is both inspirational and aspirational. Who needs a froufrou ballgown when you look as impossibly chic as this?

When Julianne Moore arrived on the carpet in her gorgeous Givenchy gown, all jaws dropped to the floor. This custom masterpiece is a true couture creation in its extraordinary craftsmanship and genius design. Last night Moore proved for the one millionth time that age is just a number and she can do fabulous better than anyone.

Style star, Lupita Nyong’o’s track record for stand out looks is nearly unblemished; and her Giambattista Valli confection may have been the best thus far. She absolutely radiated in this ethereal gown, which heightened her natural femininity. Everything thing from the top of her beautiful head to the train of her elegant ensemble was perfection.

Although I adore Lana del Ray’s soulful tunes, this look was…how should I put this nicely…garbage. Her dress looks like it was not only purchased off the rack, but off the rack at a dollar store. Throw in cheap hair extensions and poor makeup and you’ve got a tacky ensemble ready to be spotted at prom.

As the face of Chanel Mademoiselle, Kiera Knightly was probably the biggest disappointment of the night. She usually looks the epitome of style and beauty, but this gown was far from it. The butterfly print was more granny’s old couch than whimsical fairytale and the ruffled tiers read more colonial underskirt than fashion forward. Being pregnant gives you no excuse to dress outdated and frumpy, step it up Kiera.

It’s a shame to see that clueless celebs always resort back to grotesque sex appeal on the red carpet. Hey, we can’t all be Emma Stone. Katie Cassidy’s vampy and trampy gown was not only an eye sore, but the slits in every which direction made on lookers feel uncomfortable.
