With all the stars parading around in silly “look at me” outfits, Nicki Minaj’s sultry Tom Ford number was a welcomed surprise. Tailored to perfection, this gown showed off all of her best assets without appearing vulgar. The beaded flapper fringe and Studio 54 halter blended two glamorous decades for a look that screams party-ready. When Nicki does paired back sexy, no one stands a chance.
Charli XCX’s heinous Moschino ensemble was a confusing mess that needed explaining. Why show up (by choice) in an all-white tuxedo if your not waitressing the event or attending an Ellen Degeneres costume party? Also, if you are going to the Grammys, you should at least care enough to get your hair done. Charli’s fur shawl might be real, but somehow it managed to cheapen her already tacky get-up; a more appropriate accessory would have been a flame thrower.
