As the age-old saying goes: “save the best for last.” This may be the reason why Paris, the most exquisite fashion capitol in the world, is the concluding stop of Fashion Month. The French pulled out all of the stops as high impact performances of extreme artistry seemed to be on the menu at every show. Opulent beading and brocades set the stage for jaw-dropping moments that, while feminine, were also quite strong.  Whether its Vuitton’s colorful mini or Givenchy’s romantic floor-sweeper, a gorgeous confection displaying the couture hand is the only way to make a dramatic statement this season.
